A name or location entered in a search tool is transmitted directly to the third-party company that operates it. That provider processes the query and supplies its own results. We do not keep a separate log of search terms on our systems.

An email or direct message may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the related correspondence. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a binding legal obligation.

Henry County Criminal History does not host, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Its content identifies request routes at the Henry County Sheriff, Circuit Clerk, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, and Alabama Sex Offender Registry. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report or a record about another person, and this website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Information submitted to one of those tools falls under that provider's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices. We do not control those terms. Review them before starting a search.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to sheriff and court pages, Alabama agency systems, legal resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this website, the destination's privacy terms control. Those terms should be read before personal details are submitted.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to recognize activity across websites and select targeted advertisements. We do not operate that tracking.

Alabama Code § 41-9-621 separately limits dissemination from the state criminal-history repository, while the Alabama Open Records Act governs qualifying government writings rather than private visitor data. Depending on the law that applies, a visitor may:

- Seek correction of inaccurate information
- Object to certain processing where an applicable law permits it
